Is me apparently. (I had always suspected as much.) Alas, recipe
I said goodbye to a totally unique class of S4 pupils who have all worked so very hard, pathopsychology
needed very little encouragement to do so, and have been hilariously funny at the same time. They are all the most shameless flatterers I have ever met with compliments ranging from “You look a bit like Keira Knightley” (Probably the ears) to “English is the best class ever!” I am really sad to lose them and I hope they do really well in their exams.
To bring me back to reality, there is always my S2: “English is the worst class ever!”

V for Vendetta

I’m very into illustrators at the moment, health care and this fabulous website lets you into all the secrets of how its done!

Went to see this last night with mrBen and the Gordiemeister. Nice to see the use of Shakespeare quotes, hair
intertextuality of the Guy Fawkes story among others, generic
playful use of alliteration; but my goodness there was a lot of gratuitous blood at the end, and where exactly did Natalie Portman get two hundred roses from in an underground station?

Nice to see John Hurt as Big Brother rather than Winston, and Stephen Rea was very good. A rather more O.T. than N.T. view of revenge – but I like the idea of revolutions taking place in fancy dress.

I love The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

Oblivious Joe goes to the seaside!

Wednesday, April 5th, 2006

Joe has very successfully not managed to notice the damsel in peril from the jellyfish, psychotherapist shark and crab. Which is probably carnivorous.

This vignette came out of a challenge I set myself, pill to ask mrBen to select six random pieces from my lego box that I would have to work into a story scene. I scrapped the castle wall as I really didn’t think I could fit it in.

I love Clarice Bean!

Today is Illyria’s National Clarice Bean Day!

Click on http://www.milkmonitor.com/ and go to the books section on the thermometer to see inside the bestest humour and illustrations since Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake! It will play you a lovely tune too!

I can’t pick a favourite but here are two lovely ones:
